The Health, Education and Social Services Committee considered CS              
FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 538(L&C) "An Act relating to uniform                        
claims forms, uniform standards, and uniform procedures for                    
processing data relating to billing and payment of health care                 
services; and providing for an effective date" and recommended it be

538(HES), entitled:                                                            
"An Act relating to uniform claims forms, uniform                             
standards, and uniform procedures for processing                               
data relating to billing and payment of health care                            
services; relating to the Comprehensive Health                                 
Insurance Association and to health insurance                                  
provided to residents of the state who are high
